Get rid of trojans

Browsing the internet you expose yourself to all sort of malicious applications. These applications, mainly trojans, will try and take control of your computer, pop-up unwanted ads, redirect you on other sites, or even worse, steal your data.

You can download from

Open Hyjack This and then click on Do a system scan only (the second option) and then wait for the scan to finish.

Next make the window larger and take each item in the list and analyze it. On the list the applications that run automatically when the computer starts are displayed. Check every item that doesn’t seem trustworthy and then click on Fix Checked (like in the image below).

Restart your computer and if you are lucky, you may have gotten rid of some trojans. To get rid of viruses, get a good antivirus and scan your system.
