Changing folder icons

To change the icon of a certain folder simply right click on the folder and choose Properties (1 on the image below), then select the Customize tab (2 on the image below). Click on Change Icon (3 on the image below) and choose a new icon from the window that appeared (4 on the image below). You can also choose some other files with the .

ico extension, by pressing the Browse button. The click on OK (5 on the iamge below) and then again on OK (6 on the image below).

The same settings apply to Windows XP, Vista and 7. If you want some nice, new icons, you can download some from here:
