Remove shortcut arrow Windows

Windows XP

Click on the Start button and then choose Run. Type regedit and then press Enter. In the Registry Editor, from the left column, choose HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and then navigate to lnkfile (or you can type fast LNKFILE and he will go there automatically).

After you have selected lnkfile (1 on the image below), from the right column select IsShortcut (2 on the image below) and then click on Delete to get rid of it. Now you will need to restart your computer.
