Installing free fonts

Windows

Free fonts website:

Click on the Start button and then click on Control Panel. Open the Fonts option.

Installing new fonts

The same settings apply to all version of Windows for font installation.

Select the font files that you want to install and then right-click on them. Choose Copy.

Go to the Fonts window and right-click anywhere on the white space (not on the existing fonts). Choose Paste. This is it!

You will be asked if you want to replace existing fonts. The process is very simple. It’s like copying files to a folder.

Backing up existing fonts

To backup all your fonts, you will have to select them all and then save them in another folder (preferably on another partition, if you plan on formatting your computer).
