BIOS password My Computer

The BIOS password is very powerful and you cannot pass it if you just stand and wait for a miracle. The next solution should work for most desk computers. The password is remembered as long as the system is powered. When the computer is not plugged in, it still has a small battery on the motherboard that helps it store some information.

So how can you reset the BIOS password?

1. Turn off your computer.
2. Unplug it.
3. Use a screwdriver and remove the side panel of the case.
4. Carefully remove the battery (see the image below).
5. Wait around 10 minutes and then put the battery back.
6. Put the cover on and restart the system.
