How to open .docx files in Word 2003 Office

There are many incompatibility issues between Windows Vista and some programs. If you prefer Word 2003 and not Word 2007, then you will surely have a problem with the different files (for example for opening .docx documents).

If you tried installing the two different versions of Word on two different computers, then you did see that this is not the solution. Fortunately Microsoft has seen this problem and they created the Microsoft Compatibility Pack. You can download it from their official site. You just need to agree with their terms and then click on Continue and OK.
